Rotten democracy, you name it!
The Swedish defence research agency FOI have recently published a report stating that all organisations and network that is not socialistic, are a threat to what they call the liberal democracy. It is obvious that the FOI report is aiming against the political parties representing present government.
This is how FOI describes itself:
FOI, the Swedish Defence Research Agency, is one of Europe’s leading research institutes in defence and security. FOI is a government agency under the Ministry of Defence, and most of its activities are assignment-based. Our largest clients are the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, the Government Offices and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. We also have many assignments from other government authorities, municipalities and companies, within the defence and security fields.
There are no doubts about that the Swedish social democratic party still controls the Swedish army and the Swedish security service one year after the new government was elected.
The present government is described as a threat to the democracy in a recent report from the Swedish defence research agency.
The authors describe the report as qualitative and ethnographical science. The definition of qualitative science is that the researcher interprets texts in a "scientific" way. Ethnographical is social research that involves examining behaviour of social groups and their behaviour in a given situation.
The scientist’s methodology has been to read texts and listen to blogs that are outside of the state financed media questioning the socialistic ideology and narrative, hence interpretated as undemocratic and an appeal to violence.
It is questionable that the Swedish military dedicate its resources to this kind of science, as if this is the biggest threat to the nation of Sweden nowadays. But the explanation can be found in the regulating letter from to the previous government to the defence authority.
The narrative in Sweden is that all authorities are independent from the political departments and free to decide how to fulfil their missions. Anyhow the government sends regulating letters describing the budget and the mission for the different authorities.
In the regulating letter from 2022 to the FOI we can read the following under the budget deposition:
”Högst 2 000 000 kronor får användas för kartläggning och analys av våldsbejakande extremism och rasism i digitala miljöer.”
In English: A total of 2000 000 SEK can be used to mapping and analysis of violent promoting right extremisms and racism in digital environments.
This is a direct order from the social democratic party stating exactly what propaganda they want from the defence authority.
The report “Rutten demokrati” (rotten democracy in English) is a qualitative study, where the authors interpretate opponents to the socialistic narrative.
In this article I aim to make a quantitative study of the report Rotten Democracy.
But first some concepts from the social science explained.
Framing comprises a set of concepts and theoretical perspectives on how individuals, groups, and societies organize, perceive, and communicate about reality. In social theory, framing is a schema of interpretation, a collection of anecdotes and stereotypes, that individuals rely on to understand and respond to events.
Concept creep is the process by which harm-related topics experience semantic expansion to include topics which would not have originally been envisaged to be included under that label. It has been criticised for making people more sensitive to harms and for blurring people's thinking and understanding of such terms, by categorising too many things together which should not be, and by losing the clarity and specificity of a term.

The need for the Swedish defence authority for a scientific report with this content right now is questionable.
The authors refer to the Christchurch attack New Zealand, Anders Bering Breivik in Norway and the takeover of Capitolium in the USA. They mention “several” violent acts in Sweden including “a number of” school attacks and the murder of the regional coordinator for the psychiatric healthcare in Almedalen 2022. All with the insinuation to be performed by far right networks.
What I know about the number of school attacks there have been only one in the city of Trollhättan, a man dressed as a Viking, attacking with a sword. He had written a Farwell letter on a gaming site to a man in Holland who he mentioned as his only friend in this world. The murder of Ing-Marie Wieselgren in Almedalen was sentenced to psychiatric care.
Both those cases are to be derived to the great psychiatric reform in Sweden some years earlier, where all mental institutions were closed, and the detainees was expected to be adapted to the open society. My personal reflection is that the Swedish society has adapted to the people who was previously under care!
Anyhow as a news consumer in Sweden I can’t remind me any other violent acts with “far right” motives. “Several” violent acts and “a number of” school attacks are highly exaggerated and must be considered on the verge to scientific fraud.
However only so far this year there have been 64 deadly shootings and numerous bombs blown off by other networks. But all these murders is caused by socioeconomic factors according to Jerzy Sarnecki, the father of one of the authors to the report rotten democracy.
Is the Swedish territory endangered by the right extremist milieu more now than before?
Are the people who question the covid vaccine a case to deal with for the Swedish army?
Is the daughter of the far left leaning professor in criminology Jerzy Sarnecki, who have always been preaching socioeconomical causes as the reason for all conventional crimes in Sweden, the right person to make interpretations of all media questioning the leftist narrative?
We must understand that all professors in Sweden the last 50 years have been appointed by the social democratic party, hence all education in the Swedish universities have a heavily ideological framing to the left.
FOI is the shortening for Freedom of Information in the rest of the world. In Sweden it is the proof of the democratic Potemkin.
To pretend to be a democracy, with elections and all the props needed, but where the old socialist party still controls everything from the military and the security service to the state owned power company from their position from outside the government. That is for sure rotten democracy!

When the entire western world looks at the Swedish political system as a role model. Be aware that what you see is not what there is. The first victim within a failing ideology is the truth. Even at the verge of ruin Sweden will look like a good example from outside. The socialistic propaganda machine is efficient and always kept in a good order.
