"Rättshaverist" How the obstinate applicant on the other side of the phone line appear for the clerk after a series of internal education sessions by the authority!

The main enemy in the Swedish Social democratic narrative has been the capitalist during the 20th century. Their political antipode was the bourgeois party “Moderaterna”, hence all people who was not an employee with collective agreement, automatically member of the party by the union membership, had the stigma.

However, when the right oriented party “The Sweden democrats” gained momentum, gaining popularity in the traditional Social democratic voter segments, workers and boomers, another simplified narrative was needed.

The clerks working in all the different authorities handling permissions for all what is regulated in Sweden had an easy job. The register from the tax authorities where people’s income and wealth are registered is available in the authorities. To look up applicants in the registers is mandatory since the clerk must ensure the ability to pay the application fee.

How to make the life hard for a certain part of the population engaged in the “Sweden democratic party”?

However, when the right oriented party “The Sweden democrats” gained momentum, gaining popularity in the traditional Social democratic voter segments, workers and boomers, another simplified narrative was needed. Since the “Sweden democrats” is picking the low hanging fruit of xenophobic people, especially since the social democratic party is importing new voters to replace the boomer generation.

The two words are justice and wreckage, where the meaning is conceptually sliding between querulant and whatever is needed for the moment.

How to make the life hard for a certain part of the population engaged in the “Sweden democratic party”? The clerks in the authorities are undereducated low paid and easily controllable, but it would be too obvious.

The stigma “rättshaverist” was invented, which is another of those word invented by combining 2 other words, which is common in the Swedish official language. The two words are justice and wreckage, where the meaning is conceptually sliding between querulant and whatever is needed for the moment.

The law student in Sweden studies the “science” of the Swedish society and the Swedish law like the priest study the bible.

All clerks in all the 290 municipalities, the almost 500 authorities including the judges, the regions, the government secretariat, and probably the journalists in the state controlled public service are now educated how to deal with “rättshaverister”. They repeatedly get training in how to deal with those people who after they have been denied something that they neighbour was granted asks the question why!

Since the applicant is now stigmatised, the more he fights for his right to be treated equally the more the stigma amplifies. This construction of stigmas is a speciality for the Social democratic party and is also used widely in the construction of the law.

Gradually trough all sessions of internal education of the employees in the authorities, who often got a title based on the actual employment, the “rättshaverist” lose the status as human being.

You might ask how the judges in the court can descend to this game. The law school in Sweden does not contain literature and philosophy like in other countries. The law student in Sweden studies the “science” of the Swedish society and the Swedish law like the priest study the bible.

The laws are made up during the 100 years the social democratic party have governed the country and are elevated to science by the institutions constituted by the social democratic party.

For most of the applicants the feeling of being a bad person start growing in the consciousness. Beside it must be something wrong with you, since you complain when you are living in one of the best countries in the world!
